Jackpot Community Trust helps distribute funding raised through The Scotto, What a Lotto and the Scottish Children’s Lottery to a wide range of worthwhile causes.
The charities we support work in many different areas, from helping children and young people to supporting mental health, tackling poverty, reducing isolation, assisting families in crisis and improving lives within local communities.
Each organisation has its own focus, but they all share the same purpose: to deliver practical, meaningful support where it is needed most.
Through every lottery ticket purchased, players help these charities continue their important work.

Calum’s Cabin
Calum’s Cabin is truly inspiring. They work tirelessly to give children with cancer the chance to create memories with their families.
Calum’s Cabin offer a collection of holiday homes nestled in the Isle of Bute and Ayrshire, giving families a well needed break and rest during the most difficult time in their lives.
Another priceless gift given to families by Calum’s Cabin is a place for families to call home during active treatment. They currently own ten flats in Glasgow, conveniently located near treatment centres, giving families the opportunity to stay together in a comfortable and homely setting.
Calum’s Cabin is nothing short of extraordinary, and we are honoured that The Scotto gets to be a part of their journey.
The Scotto is proud to announce that it has donated £125,000 to SAMH, Scotland’s national mental health charity.
Founded in 1923, SAMH has a long history of supporting mental wellbeing.
They provide essential services across Scotland, including social care, addiction recovery, and employment assistance, for over 70 communities.
At the Jackpot Community Trust we recognise the critical importance of mental health and by supporting charities like SAMH, the players of The Scotto are directly contributing positive change in our communities.
As SAMH themselves say, “People should ask once and get help fast.”
This is precisely how The Scotto, through its players, empowers individuals to seek help.
The House of Hope, founded by Lisa Fleming after her 2017 secondary breast cancer diagnosis, will offer access to holistic therapies, wellbeing services, complementing medical treatments, and a welcoming space to support those impacted by breast cancer.
Facing her breast cancer diagnosis, Lisa channelled her strength into creating something amazing to help others in a similar situation to herself. It’s truly inspiring.

For over 50 years, Cyrenians has transformed lives across the country, offering person-centred support to prevent homelessness, tackle poverty, and empower individuals through compassionate, innovative services.
Cyrenians takes a person-centred approach that recognises how homelessness is often linked to poverty, poor mental health, family breakdown, trauma and food insecurity. Their work spans prevention, early intervention and long-term support, helping people not only in moments of crisis, but before problems reach that stage.
Services include housing and homelessness support, mediation for families, health and wellbeing programmes, food initiatives, employability support and community-based projects that help people rebuild stability and connection.
Give a Dog a Bone, recently supported with £35,000 from The Scotto, tackles loneliness and rehomes animals through welcoming Scottish community hubs, activities, companionship, and adoption support.
They also offer yoga, mindfulness, dog walks, and social events, helping people stay active, connected, and supported in their communities.
Emily, supported by the charity, shares:
“When I lost my dog last year, I lost my best friend. I missed her terribly. The charity helped me regain routine, companionship, and the joy of giving a shelter dog a home.”
Through our players’ amazing ongoing support, Together for Short Lives, the UK’s leading charity for children’s palliative care, are able to provide a lifeline to families with a seriously ill child, offering comfort during the toughest moments.

Their £20,000 contribution directly funded our Family Support Hub, helping ensure families caring for seriously ill children can access the vital emotional, practical and financial support they need at the most difficult times.”
Every year, thousands of young people aged 13-24 are diagnosed with cancer in the UK, and Teenage Cancer Trust is there for every single one of them. From specialist nurses and youth workers to dedicated hospital units within the NHS, they ensure that teenagers and young adults receive the sensitive, individual care they need — so that no young person ever has to face cancer alone.
